Rwanda does not appear among the countries that Israel identified in United Nations General Assembly.

Rwanda does not appear among the countries that Israel identified as having walked out or whose representatives were not in the room when Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the United Nations General Assembly.

Footage released showed numerous delegates leaving the chamber when Netanyahu took the podium, while others remained to listen to his speech.

Netanyahu himself began his address by saying that those who did not want to hear him could leave, before continuing with his message.

Other footage also showed an Israeli delegate counting the people who were not in the chamber during Netanyahu’s speech.

According to figures released by Israel after the speech, representatives of 77 countries were said either to have been absent from the chamber or to have walked out when Netanyahu began speaking.

They included African countries such as South Africa, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda, Kenya, Angola, Senegal, Sudan, Algeria, Niger, Chad, Mozambique, and others.

Rwanda, however, does not appear on that list.

On Rwanda’s side, Prime Minister Dr. Justin Nsengiyumva had delivered Rwanda’s message to the UN General Assembly on international issues, particularly security and peace in the Great Lakes region.

In his speech, he said that the security situation in eastern DRC was a test of the international community’s ability to respond to rapidly evolving crises.

Many countries walked out while Netanyahu was speaking, as Israel continues to face criticism from various countries over its actions in Gaza.

Representatives of numerous countries left, while others remained in the chamber as the Israeli delegation continued to support Netanyahu and applaud.

Netanyahu said that Israel was continuing to defend itself and stressed that its operations targeting Iran and Hamas were important for his country’s security.

He also rejected accusations that Israel was committing genocide in Gaza, saying that those allegations were false.
