- Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in New Delhi, India, to attend the 18th BRICS Summit,joining leaders from BRICS member countries for high-level discussions on global and regional issues. During the summit, Xi Jinping took part in discussions focused on strengthening cooperation among BRICS countries, promoting economic development, and addressing shared international challenges. The meeting also provided an opportunity for leaders to exchange views on trade, investment, development and greater cooperation among emerging economies.
Xi’s participation highlighted China’s continued engagement with BRICS and its support for stronger cooperation among member states. The summit brought together leaders from major emerging economies as the bloc seeks to expand its influence in global economic and diplomatic affairs.
After completing his engagements in New Delhi, President Xi Jinping departed India, concluding his participation in the BRICS summit.
